      Mikaeel Ahmadi (Chairman)

    • Mr. Ahmadi received the BSc. and MSc. degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from Kabul University and University of the Ryukyus, Japan in 2011 and 2017, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at University of the Ryukyus, Japan. He is interested in renewable energies, storage systems, and distribution network optimization in power system.

      Abdul Matin Ibrahimi (Vice-chairman)

    • Mr. Ibrahimi received the MSc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan in 2015. He worked with the ministry of energy and water of Afghanistan as a energy sector development manager. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the electrical and electronics department, Engineering Faculty, University of the Ryukyus. His research interests are in the areas of renewable energy, energy storage systems, power optimization, and power trading.

    • Mohammed E. Lotfy received the B.S. and M.S. degree from the Faculty of Engineering, Zagazig University, Egypt, in 2010 and his D. Eng. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of the Ryukyus, Japan in 2018. He is currently under Postdoctoral position in University of the Ryukyus and his research includes renewable energy, energy storage, and power system optimization and control.

    • Sayed Mir Shah Danish received her Bachelor (BSc.), in field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, from Kabul University, in 2012. He worked with different organizations as a lecturer, electrical engineer, electrical systems design engineer, and vocational trainers since 2012. Now he is working toward his Master Course in Electrical Engineering at University of the Ryukyus, Japan. He is interested in the field of power system analysis and renewable energy resources and technologies.

    • Mr. Yongyi HUANG is a second-year master student at electrical and electronics department in University of the Ryukyus. His field of research is optimization. The topic he currently working on is optimization of overloaded PV panels.

      Oludamilare Bode Adewuyi (Member)

    • Oludamilare Bode Adewuyi had a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering with first class honors from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria in 2011 and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Power Systems Engineering with distinction from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 2016. He is currently a Japanese government MEXT scholarship sponsored Ph.D student and research assistant in the field of Interdisciplinary Intelligent Systems Engineering at the University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan. His research fields of interest are power system planning and optimization, energy and environmental sustainability, alternative energy generation and voltage stability. He is a student member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and a graduate member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
